While seamless reducers can be produced upto size of 24″, we can produce welded and fabricated reducers upto a size range of 48″ or even higher in some cases.
- Concentric Reducers are used to join pipe or tube sections on the same axis. They provide an in-line conical transition between pressurized pipes of differing diameters. A pipe reducer can be a single diameter change or a multiple diameter change. The pipes cannot recognize what the outside configuration of the pipe reducer looks like. The concentric reducer is cone-shaped, and is used when there is a shift in diameter between pipes. For example, when a 1″ pipe transitions into a 3/4″ pipe and the top or bottom of the pipe doesn’t need to remain level. Concentric reducer is one of the most commonly used type of buttweld pipe fittings, produce as per ASME B16.9 dimensional specification.
- An eccentric pipe reducer fitting is manufactured with the smaller outlet off center to the larger end, which allows it to align with only one side of the inlet. The reducer must be installed with straight side up so that it can prevent trapping air at the pump suction. The eccentric pipe reducers allow simple connection of different sized pipes. They are used where the diameter of the pipe on the upstream side of the fitting is larger than the downstream side. We offer the most competitive prices for various pipe fittings.
